Property Management

Residential property management on the Peninsula

Single-family homes, condos, townhomes, and apartments (under 25 units) — managed by someone who picks up the phone.

What I manage

Single-family homes, condos, townhomes, duplexes, triplexes, and apartments (under 25 units). I also manage commercial and industrial property — the industrial-condo work has its own page.

What owners get

  • Fill vacancies (screen tenants and handle leases)
  • Monthly collection and deposit of all rents
  • Raising rents to fair market
  • Maintenance and repairs
  • Complete or partial unit upgrades
  • Owner accounting and reporting (complete transparency)

Managing property in today's climate has become increasingly stressful, litigious, and cumbersome. I handle the stress so you don't have to. Residential vacancies are usually filled in under two weeks, and my approach is simple and it doesn't change: responsiveness, honesty, and clear communication.

A common question: I manage condominium units located within HOA communities, but I do not serve as the property manager for an HOA association itself.

Where I work

I was born and raised in San Mateo, so I know these cities and their surrounding communities intimately. Core service area — closest to my San Mateo office — is San Mateo, Burlingame, Millbrae, Foster City, Belmont, San Carlos. Broader range runs from South San Francisco down to Menlo Park.

I'll occasionally make an exception outside that range, but only when I'm confident I can still do the best possible job — which means being able to drop everything and drive to a property if there's an issue or an emergency. As a rule, I keep the properties I manage within about a 45-minute drive of my home office.
